Project Dark ....................................................................................................www.projectdark.demon.co.uk
An explosive orchestra of sounds generated by 7" singles crafted
from circular saws and human hair, together with a full live band,
combine with giant video projections to create an atmosphere of energetic
excess and sensory overload. 'Gramophone De Luxe' adds live drums,
bass, guitar, keyboards and computer manipulation to the previous
show - 'Excited by Gramophones' - which took the form of an expanded
DJ set-up and was presented at sold-out shows during John Peel's Meltdown
98, Sensations, Berlin and Sonic Boom Live at the South Bank Centre.
Project Dark
will also be playing at the Cube, Bristol on 14 September and at
'Turnament' at UCLA, Los Angeles, USA on 9 November 2002. www.turnament.com

Camp Actor
Camp Actor have, with varying degrees of accuracy been likened to
Neu!, Suicide, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Gary Numan (yes him again)
Add N To (X) and a host of other electronic music pioneers, but
none of these references quite hits the mark. They are electro but
not clash; they are danceable but not dance; they have a sense of
humour but are not lounging on a kitsch sofa.
Following their
recent sell-out show at Hoxton Hall, Camp Actor release their debut
single 'Ultrafashion' / 'Antifashion' on Monday 30 September
2002 on the newly formed Press Industries label

The evolution of electronic music has been a passion for Miss* Hypnotique
ever since she wrote her dissertation 'Space Age Music and the Moog'
on cult electronic/easy listening bands in Birmingham. She has been
pursuing a theremin obsession since 2001 and regularly performs
her diverse repertoire of classical, avant-garde and popular music
in an extraordinary live show of top quality musicianship that has
